Our most sustainable bouquets: MPS-A+ and MPS-A certified

These special sustainable bouquets can only be used with MPS-A+ and MPS-A certified flowers. MPS ABC is a sustainability programme that aims to make the global floriculture industry more sustainable and cleaner.

Within this programme, all participating floriculture companies receive a score, with C being the lowest and A+ being the highest. The score is based on a quarterly survey. The study looks at how companies perform in areas such as fertiliser use, pesticides, water and energy. The better a company performs, the better the score and the higher the letter. Do you choose a particularly sustainable bouquet from our collection? It will be arranged with flowers from growers who have a proven track record in sustainability.

Sustainable round bouquet

A bouquet of extra sustainable flowers is assembled at Amsterdam Flowers using the most beautiful sustainable seasonal flowers available at that time. Do you choose a sustainable round bouquet? Then the bouquet will be tied in the classic way, using flowers with stems of the same length. This gives the bouquet a round shape, hence the name! Field or picking bouquet with sustainable flowers

Looking for a bouquet with a more playful and airy look? Then choose a sustainable picking bouquet, also known as a field bouquet. In this type of bouquet, the stems are cut at different lengths so that the flowers are at different heights in the bouquet. This gives a very beautiful and natural effect, perfect as a congratulatory gift or to wish someone well.
